MASCHIO GASPARDO UNIGREEN KEEPS ON INVESTING AND GROWING IN ITALY

The Group continues its process of growth with the opening of the Primis company and a new production plant in San Vito al Tagliamento, Pordenone, for the production of fertilizers, in cooperation with Unicka and the Busolin family.

In the last 6 months the Group has speeded up its process of industrial expansion with the double aim of increasing its production capacity and covering all phases of agricultural mechanization.

The opening of a new production site in San Vito al Tagliamento, acquired in partnership with the Busolin family, confirms the will of the Maschio Gaspardo Unigreen Group to continue to invest in Italy, but it also has an important impact on the employment of a region particularly affected by the current economic crisis, which has led to the closing down of several companies and the loss of many jobs.

With the new production plant in San Vito al Tagliamento and the Primis company, the Maschio Gaspardo Unigreen Group aims at creating an industrial hub for the production of agricultural equipment in Italy, reaching a turnover of 350 million Euros. In particular, the plant, realized in collaboration with Unicka, will produce fertilizers, developing high tech equipment for the precise spreading of fertilizers in order to meet the different nutrition needs of farming. Once activated, the production plant will employ around 110 people.

“We continue to invest in our country”, says the President Egidio Maschio, “because we strongly believe in it. Unfortunately the word crisis is well-known in Italy, nevertheless I still believe that this is where we have to start from, opening up to foreign markets, by strenghtening our roots. The strong spirit and will of our people is our richness. We are hard workers, craftsmen known all over the world for our talent and innovation. This partnership allows us to be even more competitive in the agricultural equipment sector. For this reason I want to thank the suppliers and banking institutes for their continuous support. And I want to thank our employees. It is only because of their commitment that we have been growing and improving our business day by day for 50 years now.”
