Maschio Gaspardo is an international Group, leader in the production of agricultural equipment for tillage, seeding/planting, crop protection, landscaping and hay making. The Group produces a wide range of rotary tillers, power harrows, mulchers, precision planters, seed drills, flail mowers, ploughs, minimum tillage tools, sprayers and balers. The Company has 8 production plants, 5 in Italy and 3 abroad in Romania, India and China. Moreover, Maschio Gaspardo has 13 sales branches worldwide. The Group economic growth is based on continuous R&D, performed by a large team of high skilled engineers, but also through the synergies created with the top leaders of the agricultural sector at an international level. The positive trend has also given start to productive investments, among which there is the installation of photovoltaic systems over the roofs of the Italian plants. A 'Winning Team' that strongly believes that if 'You work well the land, it will pay you back'. In 1964 the brothers Egidio e Giorgio Maschio started the production of rotary tillers in the barn of their house, the so-called 'small shop of rotary tillers'. That agricultural barn, used as a mechanical workshop, today has become a major industrial Group still managed by the Maschio family that guarantees the continuity in the leading of the Group. |
THE MOST IMPORTANT STEPS: 1964 - The Maschio brothers established their business in the small shop of rotary tillers. Just in a few years, production shifted from a small-scale set-up to a major industrial production site 1975 - Maschio products start being exported. In 1979 the growth in sales leads to the acquisition of the Terranova production plant in Cadoneghe (Padova), a strategic site for mechanical processing 1994 - Acquisition of Gaspardo Seminatrici, located in Morsano al Tagliamento (Pordenone) and renowned for its precise and reliable seed-drills. The Gaspardo plant has been producing machines for the delicate activity of sowing since 1834 as it still does today 2003 - Maschio Gaspardo opens a production plant in Romania, at Chisineu-Cris (Arad) to produce minimum tillage equipment 2004 - Maschio Gaspardo opens a production plant in China. The Qingdao plant (Shandong) starts building a range of small rotary tillers, flail-toppers and finishing mowers for the Asian market 2011 - Maschio Gaspardo opens a production plant in India, at Aundh (Pune), to produce rotary tillers and mulchers for the internal market 2013 - Maschio Gaspardo opens the Unigreen plant in Portogruaro (Venezia), to produce sprayers and seeders, and establishes a partnership with Moro, a company located in Concordia Sagittaria (Venezia), specialized in the production of ploughs 2014 - Acquisition of Feraboli, a historical company from Cremona, renowned all over the world for its hay making equipment. Partnership with Visini, a society of Calvatone (Cremona) specialized in the production of agricultural trailers, tank trucks and dumpers. Partnership with Friuli Sprayers, a company of Torviscosa, specialized in the production of drift recovery and special mist-sprayers for orchards and vineyards. 2017 - the Group enhances its presence in the plowing sector. Moro Pietro Meccanica becomes MASCHIO Aratri. 2018 - MASCHIO Holding S.p.A., controlled by Andrea and Mirco Maschio, acquired the majority of MASCHIO GASPARDO S.p.A. share capital. 2019 - Capital strengthening of the MASCHIO GASPARDO Group, with a triple intervention by the regional financial companies Friulia S.p.A. (also through the co-owned Finest S.p.A.) and Veneto Sviluppo S.p.A. in the asset of the group companies. OUR NUMBERS:
