FIXED CHAMBER ROUND BALER

ENTRY 120 (4'x4') and 150 (4'x5') are affordable, simple, sturdy full chain balers. They’re ideal for small farmers who cut their own forage or as a back-up machine for larger operations. Complete with twine and net wrap binding systems there’s a choice of either 4' (ENTRY 120) or 5' (ENTRY 150) diameter bales with a standard wide pick-up 79 in. suitable for all crops and windrows.

EASY MAINTENANCE

 

The ENTRY series is equipped with few greasing points, easily accessible. The automatic chain lubrication system (option) features a high-capacity tank, providing longer autonomy, chain longevity and operator comfort. The pump delivers oil to the main chains every time the tailgate is closed or open. The volume of oil can be adjusted according to operator needs.

• A 79 in. wide developed to fit larger farm needs. The two converging augers feed the bale chamber and provide smooth product flow.
ENTRY series pickups are hydraulically raised from the cab as standard equipment and equipped with galvanized strippers for extended lifespan and four tine bars for high-capacity picking.

Two safety features prevent damage to the baler due to feeding system overload:
Pickup safety shear bolt only stops the pickup rotation while rotor feeder and chamber are still powered; this safety is activated in case of pickup overload.
Rotor feeder safety shear bolt clutches the feeder and pickup, only allowing the bale chamber to move. This safety is activated in case of overload on the feeder or when the operator is still feeding the chamber after the maximum density has been
reached. Simplicity! fork feeder and pickup use the same shear bolt references.

The bale chamber is made of rolls that produces bales 4-ft wide by a 4-ft (Entry 120) or 5-ft (Entry 150) diameter. Forty-one slats (1⅓ in. diameter) firmly grab straw or hay to provide continuous bale rotation. Chain-drive, two-ribbed bottom rolls grip the bale to fill the chamber and to begin the baling process effectively.

MASCHIO FIX CHAMBER Series offers even more versatility due to the adjustable tine position.
The operator can turn the pickup cam to improve feeding efficiency for straw or wet crops:
• By moving the tines closer to the rotor the fork feeding is improved in dry conditions.
• By moving the tines away from the rotor, the pickup capacity is increased in wet or sticky conditions: no clogging issues!

The ENTRY Series is equipped as standard with the twine-tying system. This system uses a gliding cart that feeds the twine in to the chamber. The double feeder allows two twines to be wrapped simultaneously. Compared to a single-twine feeding system, the wrap time is reduced. A knob located on the side of the baler allows the adjustment of twine coils.

The conveyor stops during the bale unloading process to avoid any damage. A mechanically-driven clutch stops the conveyor when the tailgate opens. Thanks to this system the conveyor chain stress is reduced and the baler noise is decreased.

HIGH CAPACITY FEEDING SYSTEM

 

An alternative feeding system with 16 tines have 2¾ in. spacing offers large capacity, especially with dry crops such as straw or hay. The large clearance between the pickup and chamber preserves crop structure (i.e., highly-nutritive leaves) and improves hay and straw quality, limiting clogging.

MONITORING SYSTEM

 

Simple and easy controller gives all the key functions to bale fast. A stop alarm teamed with an audible signal indicates that that chamber is filled and that target density has been reached.
