Side gearboxes are fitted with an integral fan, allowing the gearboxes to be completely self contained with no need for separate oil coolers, fans and extra pipe work routed around the machine that could be damaged and cause the gearbox to fail.

The extra-long sideprotectionsprevent ridges from the side of the power harrow among the passes. The protections have built in spring dampeners that absorb the collisions from large stones preventing damages.
PLUS stone deflectorsOpenClose
PLUS stone deflectors
“PLUS” stone deflectors are bolted to the second gear-trough layer and prevent damages to the rotors. Deflectors can be easily removed by a single bolt to improve soil flow among rotors!
“RAPIDO” is a patented quick blades release system. A single central pin locks the tines in working position. With the special tool (standard on Rapido power harrows) is possible to spring-release the pin and remove manually the blades.
Large diameter bevel gears and curve tooth profile for larger contact surface and smoother transmission.
MULTI-SPEED gearbox allow to switch from 540 to 1000 rpm (rigid frame machines), and change rotor speed revolution!
The gear casing is made of a 0.24 in. thick steel plate, in addition to that a 0.20 in. reinforcing plate is welded-on to give a box section and make the assembly very rigid and sturdy.
The optional rear cart with pivoting wheels improves stability during road transport.
The ON-GRIP tines are ideal for working in hard no-till soils with crop residues. Due to the shape of the blades you get excellent mixing of soil, it also leaves a large proportion of the large course soil on the surface preventing the top layer of soil creating a water tight crust. Tungsten coated blades are suitable for abrasive soils: standard dotation on Jumbo, they are available as optional on other models.
The frame of new folding power harrows has been improved to be more resistant to heavy and continuative stresses. Hydraulic cylinders have an auto balancing system to control the depth of the rear roller and make sure it always runs level.
